Option 1: Training

We can come to you and deliver EDR across your setting to all staff.
The lead trainer will discuss your context and your needs in detail and design whole-school training to help you launch EDR and begin your journey. Training will include The Legal Framework; The Five Pillars; Relationships; and The Use of Force. Training will enable you and your staff to make informed decisions about behaviour leadership and risk management so that they feel more confident dealing with all negative behaviour, including challenging behaviour, violence and aggression.

Option 2: Coaching

Coaching is our premium option. You identify a team of your own staff who you think have the skills, qualities, attitudes and values to take responsibility for leading behaviour and managing risk in your setting. EDR coaches will then work directly with your team so that they are able to deliver initial EDR training (Option 1) themselves. This option gives schools the most flexibility and ownership of EDR. It is also great for staff development and opens up opportunities for your staff to deliver EDR in other settings in the future.

Option 3: Support

You may be perfectly happy with behaviour leadership and risk management in your setting, but have a particular support need. EDR trainers and coaches can help you write or update your policies, develop behaviour plans with SENCOs, help classroom staff problem solve around challenging behaviours. Whatever your support need, we are here to help.
